How does it work? FAQs

You’re stuck on the side of the road, in a parking lot, or in your driveway at home. You may be asking yourself, what’s next? Here are some basic steps to your repair. Keep in mind, this is not a “one size fits all” and varies depending on your vehicle and preferences.

  1. Safety!!

    > Individual and family safety is top priority. If you are broken down on a highway, make sure you are pulled over to the “shoulder” or emergency lane.

    > If you vehicle is smoking, overheating, or making a loud noise, shut it off once you’re in a safe place.

    > If you were involved in an accident, call 911 immediately and take lots of photos and videos. Be sure to snap a picture of the other party’s driver’s license and insurance card while you wait for the police to arrive.

  2. Towing. Usually, its better to have your vehicle towed home or to a safe place for the needed repairs. We are not a towing service, but can make arrangements if you need us to. If the fix is simple (ie: dead battery, flat tire, etc.) we’ll attempt to repair it wherever you are. This will vary depending on your situation.

  3. Your initial call to us. Whatever your issue is, we’ll coach you on your best next steps and/or refer you to someone who can help if what you need isn’t within our “wheelhouse”.

  4. Service Call & Diagnostic. Depending on your vehicle’s symptom, we may be able to evaluate what you need prior to our arrival. Other times, a Service Call and/or additional diagnostic is required to avoid “throwing” parts at a vehicle (aka. guessing). We care about our customers and don’t want to waste your money on things you don’t need. This process will vary depending on your preferences. Depending on the complexity of the repair needed, and with your authorization, we may elect to perform the repair in our Resource Shop. Our Resource Shop is not accessible/available to the general public as we are primarily a mobile service. Service Calls require fee pre-payment. If repairs are authorized, a portion of your pre-payment may be credited towards your repair. Refer to current promos for more info.

  5. Estimates & Pricing. Once we’ve evaluated and/or diagnosed what your vehicle needs to get back on the road, we’ll develop an action plan for you and source the required parts. There are MANY parts options in the aftermarket world and not all of them are created equal. As quality is our highest priority, our shop prefers to utilize only the best parts available so that we can continue to offer our 24Kmile/24-month complete warranty. If you prefer to utilize a less expensive part option, the repair will hold a 12Kmile/12-month warranty. Customer Supplied Parts: You may elect to supply your own parts from Amazon, O’Reilly’s, AutoZone, etc. If you decide this is the best route for you, we are happy to help.   6. Authorization & Repairs. Once you’ve had a chance to review your estimate and discuss with us, you’ll authorize the estimate and we’ll get movin’ on your repairs!

  7. REPAIRS COMPLETE. ALL SET! We’ve completed your repair(s), test driven your vehicle, and ensured its ready for you to get back to your daily routines. Remember, we’re always here to help and are just a phone call away. We genuinely appreciate your business and enjoyed working for you. Our goal is to save you money and reduce your hassles/stress from vehicle maintenance. So, we mean NO OFFENSE WHATSOEVER by saying this, but………we hope we DON’T have to see you again soon! ☺

Policies, Warranty, Disclaimers

  1. Limited Warranty: Work performed with Advanced Automotive Dynamics carries a 24,000 mile/24-month warranty (whichever occurs first). Customer supplied parts may be utilized under the condition that repairs will only carry a workmanship warranty and not a parts defect warranty. This warranty does not cover, nor extend to any repairs or replacements which are made necessary as a result of misuse, negligence, abuse, neglect, accident or collisions, or causes other than normal use and operation of the vehicle. Normal wear and tear of wearable items such as wipers, tires, etc. is not considered a defect and cannot be warrantied. Should any repairs be made to the vehicle (warrantied repairs) by another repair facility without first contacting Advanced Automotive Dynamics, all rights under this warranty are terminated as of the date the unauthorized repairs were started/completed.

  2. Price Match Guarantee: We will beat or price match any competitor’s advertised or every-day price for comparable automotive services utilizing comparable automotive parts. If possible, please bring us any estimates you may have received. https://repairpal.com/estimator can assist with finding out a fair pricing range. Repair Pal does not account for diagnostic fees or other service fees.

  3. Terms: I hereby authorize the repair work herein set forth to be completed along with the necessary materials and agree that Advanced Automotive Dynamics, Inc. are not responsible for loss or damage to the vehicle, articles left in vehicle, fire, theft or any other cause beyond their control or for any delays caused by unavailability of parts or delay in part shipments by the supplier or transporter. I hereby grant you and/or your employees permission to operate the vehicle herein described on streets, highways, or elsewhere for the purpose of testing and/or inspection.
